Supersticious

Very supersticious, the writing's on the wall....man I love that Stevie Wonder song.

However, my question for you is, are you at all supersticious?

Do you walk under ladders without fear?

Do you refuse to get out of bed on Friday 13th??

Do you have sporting supersticions, like if you win one week, do you wear the same top the next week, or something like that?

It's bad luck not to reply to this thread as well....

I purposefully walk under ladders and stuff like that. It just amuses me. It's a load of crap.

And can I just take this opportunity to say how funny I find it when one day, Tyler just posts LOADS of threads. Do you just lie in bed one night and think ''hmm...now what could I ask the people of Monksville tomorrow? Ah HA! Superstition!! And....and...STEAK!!''

Seriously?

I tend to jot them down in "outlook" during the day when I think of them, or someone else says something like it, then once or twice a week I post the lot of them. Usually on a Tuesday since this place gets quieter over the weekend so there's less chance of them getting responded to.

Life as a Financial Adviser is that boring!!

Pay attention in school kids.

Re: Supersticious

Yes I am… and I kinda hate it. I try not to walk over 3 drains.

When playing sports I have to have either Number 5, 7, 11 or 17 or 21, no other number will do.

Also before I go into an exam I have to listen to 3 specific songs before I leave the house.

Hmmm, Im not happy when I see just one magpie, they have to be in twos otherwise its a bad sign, for what I dont know, but other than that Im not really fussed. i occasionally throw salt over my shoulder if i drop it, but not all the time. I guess my level of superstitiousness depends on my mood

Re: Supersticious

I am not obsessive about superstitions.

I don't intentionally go against them to test them either.

For example: I try to step over cracks on the sidewalk, but I don't freak out if I do step on one.
The destruction of the past is perhaps the greatest of all crimes.

Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not. Really depends on my mood or the day.
