And Invictus, what I meant is that we dont 'need' it, we can go without it, as many people do - its not essential that you 'physically' show us that you are, cause we do know that you do, its just nice to know that your boyfriend likes to make the effort to show you his feelings as some guys arent good at that. And you really have to get past that whole clubbing just being for teenagers thing. It wasnt true about me and it isnt true about her.

I don't think it is, it's what you make of it really. I remember getting flowers for my birthday or sometimes just having coffee and sharing dessert is pretty romantic
