I definitely want tog et married without doubt. i still believe in it. but i don't want to worry about it for a while. it would take somebody out of this world for me to seriously contemplate marriage in the next 5 years at least.

So yes, i need an alien chick.

I'm not getting married in the next couple years. I don't plan on getting married until I have some money saved up and a good job, or a job that pays good atleast

Well, I've been married for 13 years, dated my wife 5 or 6 years prior to getting married... I enjoy being married, but of course after that kind of time, it's definitely not the same as it was in the earlier years.

I think our biggest mistake, if there was one, was getting married too young (I was 23, she was 21). People generally change thier likes / dislikes, etc somewhere around the early to mid 30's IMO. So there are things I like now that my wife dislikes about me, and vice versa. Would we be happier if we were to separate? Probably for the short term, but in the long term, I'm sure we wouldn't.

From the female perspective, at least what I hear from my wife, is having children changed her whole chemistry and way of thinking... she is less out to "party" or do anything crazy, and although I understand that (we have children now... let's not go out and get ourselves killed) I still want to be able to own a motorcycle, go rock climbing, bungee jumping, or whatever else there is that I enjoyed in the past or have yet to experience.

Marriage is good, it's just finding someone that you know will be able to handle the tough times as well as the good, and someone that you can and will always be able to communicate with. If I couldn't talk to my wife about issues I or we have in a sensible, non argumentative manor, I'm sure we wouldn't be together today.

Probably in the future, but I get way annoyed way easily. It makes it hard for me to stay "enjoying" the same person for more than 2 weeks at a time.
