Do any of you have any gifts or talents that you might describe as super?
I have a really good sense of smell. I can detect scents that a lot of other people can't, and at times, I've been able to smell directionally. I can literally tell if a smell is coming from the left or the right of me. At work, I can tell when people have mixed two of the shake syrups together, which two they are, and tell if it's a big mix up or just a little one.
And foods that smell strong, such as bacon, bananas, coffee and vinegar make me feel ill. As a consequence, I don't eat them, and usually can't stand to be in the same room as them.
So how do you think I can put my talent to use fighting the hordes of evil, and what powers do you have? I'm thinking some kind of JLA style team at work, here...

Ok, so the Monks Super Crime Fighting Team is deveolping. I feel we should ask our GFX buddies to make us a logo so we can sew it onto our Lycra costumes.
What???
The rest of you didn't buy lycra costumes?

I'm pretty good at telling when women are pissed off. Usually it's because of something I did, but nevertheless, there's just a "look" they get that makes me know I should run the other way.
Oh, and I can fly. Not sure if that matters or not.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.
