Had my induction this morning and its now looking very likely that i'm going to love my job, as i'm the only male surrounded by 15 women in my training group

And the good thing is that will be our team once we go live in a couple of weeks so we don't get split up and moved onto different teams.

They did say there should of been another bloke but he didn't turn up so its very plesant.

I don't know Mikkster, personally I like a happy balance of the sexes. Working with all women (in my experience as one guy working with five girls) makes for a very catty and cliquey atmosphere.

It's better to have a good balance with all things in life!!

Uh huh ... women are catty in the work place ... err women are catty everywhere. Where I work they all act like friends when they're around each other, but behind their backs, WHOA! Stay away.

I'm loved by all the women though ... especially the ones in accounting. They comp my lunches all the time.

I said that working with "all women" made for a catty atmosphere, not that all women were catty.

Depends how old the women are. At the place I work, most of the woment are oldish (not TD old, but old enough) and it's quite plesent to work with them.

And Mikk... try not to get involved with them, workplace relationships should be AVOIDED!!

And in our team its a pretty good mix with about 7 - 8 ladies about my age and the rest are all around 40 i'd say and i knew some of them due to us going on the assesment and one did a course at the college.

And already a very nice lady called Beverley has said she will look after me as i'm the only bloke
