Do you think a smell has a memory? Im asking this caue today, I wore this perfume that I havent worn for a while and as soon as I sprayed it, it reminded me of the Summer, when I wore it all the time. It was even enough to remind me of things that I was doing over the summer. Is that strange?
My gf smells awesome. When she leaves or leaves something behind, I can smell it and it will remind me of her when I am near it or walk in the room she was in.
My wife bought a new perfume she never wore before for our wedding day. She says that everytime now she puts it on, it reminds her of her wedding day..
In conclusion, who knows.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/3/2008)
Violent American movies like Die Hard, Terminator, and Lethal Weapon do very well in places like Canada, Japan, and Europe. Very well. Yet these countries do not have nearly the violence of the United States. In 1989, in all of Japan, with a population of 150 million, there were 754 murders. In New York City that year, with a population of only 7.5 million, there were 2,300. It's bred in the bone. Movies and television don't make you violent; all they do is channel the violence more creatively.

What a fantastic subject!! I need to dry clean my pants now!!!!
Anyway, yes. There is a certain perfume that makes me feel pretty blue on account of it reminds me of my Mum. I hate when that happens.
I went back to school for a school reunion a couple of years back and (even after nearly 20years) it still smelled the same way. Lots of memories came back with that one.
And lastly, dentists. My current one doesn't smell of it, but all dentists used to have that clinical metallic smell to them that used to make me a big ol' coward as soon as I walked in the door!
I found an old t shirt of my ex's the other day, and it smelt exactly like his house used to, which was strange. A mixture of dog, cat, the fabric softner and his aftershave. Its neither a nice nor a bad smell but just reminded me of him.
