The fucking polar ice caps are melting away! Mt Killamanjarro is virtually snowless now. It was a great movie, and regardless of whether you want to accept or not Global Warming is true and it's happening as we speak.

I am not arguing the movies legitimacy.

I have not read enough on the topic to make that determination

I am merely stating that Al Gore made the movie with political motivation in mind.

If he is a hypocrite I really don't care.

The film raised important issues which shouldn't then be dismissed just because of his own hypocrisy.

Micheal Moore got denounced because it was proven by several people who know what they are talking about ripping his movies to pieces because he was quote mining, video editing to serve his point and to hell with looking objective, using unreliable sources and drove his films with severe political motivation.

Why do you think Micheal Moore hasn't released anything for a while? Because he got caught out and now he's waiting for a distributer to pick up Sicko but no many are showing interest.

People who stand up for Moore are so narrow minded I'm glad I don't have to hear you talk in person. You watch a film, watch the news, read a book and then without thinking that it may have a bias in it or come from a particular perspective stand on rooftops and claim people who don't agree with your drip fed intelligence are 'idiots' or comeout with fuckign stupid comments like the one Barfly came out with.

As for Gore, I saw the film, it was ok. It was completley one sided and politically motivated (Gore recently hired a big fuck off publicity specialist to promote a DVD re-release and cinema re-release after the Oscars, which is oddly the time the presidential primary candidates announce??)

As for Global Warming, I'm of the opinion its a natural cycle but I'm open to other ideas should the evidence come my way. When someone shows me the Ozone readings for the Ice Age and a precise non theorectical model I'll become a believer. At the moment Global Warming doesn't have the stats to back itself up. its a political story for political gain IMO.
