Do you answer the phone every time it rings?

Like take today for me I was home after my exam just playing my xbox and the phoen started ringing it was like 5 feet away I thought fuck it, 2 seconds later phone rings ago and it does it a third time. I did not get up any of the three times, I really just didn't want to.

Turns out my dad's car died and he needed me to go pick him up lol but hey hindsight is 20/20 but this is a common occurance for me I rarely pick up the phone unless it's in arms distance bc my philosophy is if they are important they'll call back.

so does anyone else do this or m i alone

I do normally, until it pisses me off when call after call comes and its not the same person, then i don't answer it. Or when my brothers friends call, i dont feel like yelling for him so i dont answer it.

I never answer the phone unless its a ring tone i recognize. I label people in my list by ring tones, if i hear one i like i will answer it, if its a normal ring i wont bother to get up. =]

Its usually out of area for me..So I dont bother looking at it. And has Suffy said, if they call back again then I may pick it up.

ya, I answer everything this side of Mars, because the phone is right outside my door or next to me at all times, my cell, if I don't recognize it, I don't answer it and wait for them to leave a voicemail...

I never EVER answer my home phone. People who are important that want to talk to me call my cell. They all know it. The only people that call my house are telemarketers anyway.

When I had a home phone, I never answered it because people would always call and never say a damn thing. I go so fed up, IÂ’d let it ring and ring. If it were so important the person would hit me up on my cell phone. People can be such jerks <_<.
