To the OP, I heave read up stuff like diseases and movie info. Wikipedia is pretty good for most things, articles that are watched by good editors (like almost any article about WWE wrestlers) is maintained and only reliable info is allowed.

You would be surprised at some of the vandals, I really hope most of them are children sine I can't imagine adults being that immature (especially the ones that have like 60 edits, all vandalism).

I do encourage people here to make good edits, especially on topics you are knowledgeable about.

barfly, they will just be reverted and you will get a vandalism warning from whoever reverts it.

Yep, all edits show up on the "Recent Edits" page. Wikipedia also lets registered users put pages in a watchlist, where they will be notified every time somebody edits it. They can see exactly what you did, and can undo it.

Wikipedia is awesome for personal and work use. Some of the stuff on there is gold dust in my job especially for the obscure King and Court advisors that only some academic Uni professor updates when he can be bothered.

I also like to use Wikipedia to learn stuff I don't, I like just going to a page about Martin Luther King (or some other major figure) for example and just open links until I come to a dead end, I've learnt a shitload from doing that for 30 minutes everyday.

Wikipedia is fricken sweet.......I use it for most of what Slim said and much much more.

Cant the other person just put it on their watchlist and keep changing it? Youd be surprised at how determined some people are.
