Our military, vehicles, and weaponry were much more advanced than that of the North Vietnamese.

We could have won the conflict, no doubt about that. It was just not at consequences we were willing to accept.

We could have overwhelmed the country with U.S. troops. We wasn't willing to accept the additional U.S. casualties that would have went along with that.

What is boils down to is we should have never been there. We did not have the support of our own citizens, and most people didn't even know what we were fighting for. Patriotism was at an all time low. Not an ideal situation for a military conflict.

Just note that as a Political blunder, not a Military one.

Note that I never said anything about the U.S. having the best Political system!!

That made me laugh so hard because it is so so so so so so untrue!

The UK has no advantage over any country it is a shit hole of the highest order.
