Does it really hurt? What size group is best to do it in?

I was shot once with a paintball gun. It was from like 15 feet away, it stung for a minute at most. I had just a T-shirt on. I want to go to a real painball place and have at it

I have gone about 4 times. The last time I went was probably a year ago. It really doesn't hurt though, unless you get hit in the head. Had that happen once. I broke a guy's nose too because we were running through the field getting shot at, and we dove into a bunker to get the hell out of enemy fire. I ended up diving right on him.

Another blonde moment for, I was manning the "watch tower" with another friend. I was lighting a few people up and ran out of ammo. I went to reload, and ended up shooting myself several times across my hand and face mask. The thing that sucks is the paint they use is oil based, so when you try and wipe it off your mask, it just doesn't work.

I could never get more than 1 or 2 people willing to do with it, and this seems like one of those activities that are best to do with a group of friends.

Never done it. A lot of my friends have... they say it's great fun, but I don't find it that appealing.

I've only gone once, and it was with a group of 8, which I thought was perfect given our field size. It was fun, and it can hurt depending on where you get hit.

My friend (on the opposite team) was hiding in a bush, and I walked past him. I didn't see him, but turned my gun towards him because I was turning around. He thought that meant I was gonna shoot at him (point blank, mind you..which you should never do), so to defend himself he shot me. I was hit from 3 feet out in the inner thigh, only a few inches from Mr. Jayman. Yeah, I fell to the ground clutching my leg...

I'm "retired" but I used to run in tournaments every other weekend so I did my fair share in highschool. Too friggin expensive. Anyway... Yeah it can hurt depending on the temp of the balls when they hit you, how far they are away, the angle they have on you and where you are struck etc.... the worst would be inside of the leg around the crotch muscles... make sure to where a cup for all the guys out there...

I did this around 3 months back, it was 6 on 6 and that was ideal. We had the guns on full presure and it hurt if you got hit from 50 yards, if you got hit close range it was murder.

Note's Id take from it would be as follows :-

Wear baggy clothes under the uniforms,
Get gloves, finger shots hurt, esp when cold,
Wear a hat and hoodie, neck shots are the most painful thing on earth.

Also sell your team-mates out wherever possible, it's just funny. Bruises are cool from it too.

All I now is it causes pain!

My ex used to play and once did this funky Matrix style backwards lean thing to dodge a bullet and ended up on crutches for a week.
