Your Outlets

Be it creatively, mentally, or physically, what are your outlets? What do you enjoy doing? What destresses you?

I always find a good football match with friends helps me unwind.. it's a shame, because I haven't played in a while, and as a result, I'm starting to miss it.

Creatively, I don't have one at the moment, which is beginning to frustrate me. I don't play music, and I can't draw.. so I think I might start to write. Out of all the creative vents I can think of, it'd probably be the one I'd be best at, and I'd probably enjoy it the most. I think I'd go for stories rather than poetry.. I love poems, but they seem so damn hard to write!!

I love writting and I love reading, when I'm really angry or frustrated I'll start writting about the weirdest things, some of you from WH may remember my story I wrote sometime last school year, I was extremely pissed off at the world I started writting and I ended up laughing my ass off because my story (it involved me beating old women with numbchucks and eating a cow in the middle of the street). And when I need to get an image out of my head or a thought to go away I'll read for 30 minutes and it helps relax me a ton.

And I've always enjoyed a good game of basketball or football when I'm angry nothing better than teraing someone's knee out...I was a very dirty player.

Being on-line is pretty much it for me right now.

Hanging with the family really, taking the kids to the cinema, or somewhere to eat, just putting a DVD on and kicking back with them is pretty sweet too. They're 12 and 9 now so we don't have to watch just Disney type stuff anymore....actually watched Liar Liar the other day which rules when you see how funny it is for a 12 year old!

I like to go out and get blasted still from time to time, but only once every month or so now. It takes a lot of planning and such, so I can't go out like that often.

Other than that, going for a run is a good de-stresser for me as well. Going on-line is more stressful thesedays, I mean logging on and having to read all of those PM's from fellow Monkers asking me for advice due to my extreme "wisdom"!!

I plug my ipod in, and go for a long walk on my own... always works. I prefer to go at night time, less busy and it seems peacefull.

Well, if Im stressed then, firstly it must be a pretty huge problem cause nothing gets to me! But I guess whenever I have i just tend to hangout with people who make me laugh and I guess for me, a nice glass of vodka calms me down. Probably not the best thing but then I guess its a good thing I only get stressed once in a blue moon!
