How do you handle rejection?
In all it's many guises, how do you handle rejection?

Sexual rejection?

Career rejection?

Does it inspire you to try harder?

Sexually it would make me sulk, I was such a little boy back then (and in some ways, always will be). It's not an attractive trait in men!!

Career wise I can be quite inspired by it, but it's often short tem inspiration, a week or two, until I go back to "normal".

Never had any rejection with women either. If you don't ask anyone out, you can't get rejected.

Relationship rejection - I just sulk for a few days, fell sorry for myself and try and move on. Or hope she comes to her scenes.

Career wise - as of yet I haven't had any. But soon I’ll be going for lots of interviews (with a bit of luck) for my first proper full time job, so I guess I’ll have to brace myself for a few rejections.

Sports wise - I used to hate being left on the bench when playing for my rugby team. I always wished we lose to prove a point.

I don't really have to deal with realtionship rejejction much.
But I have had to deal with a lot of career rejection lately. I have just left school, and have been rejected from about 3 or 4 jobs, but i am getting used to it, and it doesn't really bother me, cause i know there are plenty of jobs to go around.
