Do you get homesick?

When you're away from home do you ever get homesick? What is it specifically that you are missing? People? Places? Do you want to go where everyone knows your name!!

I do when I'm away from the kids for anything for more than 1 night, but when I'm on holiday (unless it's an absolutely fantastic holiday) I usually start getting homesick after about 10 days. Usually just for home conveniances and my own bed and all that sort of junk. I know, I'm a big crybaby!!

I miss my bed. It's very hard for my to sleep over other's houses unless they have a really comfortable bed. That's always the 1st thing I want to know. Vacation is a disaster for sleeping so when I'm on vacation I only really sleep a few hours a night, basically like what I've been doing for the last week anyway lol .... Stupid effin finals and shit.

I get homesick so bad. I go on holiday and within 5 days usually, no matter how good a time Im having, I just want to be back at home. Its nothing in particular I miss, I just kinda miss my life.

Nah, I dont get homesick. I like being away. Usually I have a hard time sleeping when im away but I can barely sleep when im home anyways unless i pass out from the night before lol then i sleep for like 12 hours.

Nah not really. I'll probably need to speak to my parents, but appart from that i'm ok usually.

I get sick of this flat at Uni sometimes and wish I could be at home to get away from it. I can be without my parents for quite a while but not Matt...I mean Half Boy.

I do get homesick when I am away from home for extended periods of time. I miss the house, but I also miss the area I live in. I don't think I could ever live anywhere else except the town that I grew up in.

I will go sometimes 2 months without seeing my parents when I'm here at school, and it makes me crazy sometimes. I miss my family and friends from home so much sometimes, but it's always the worst when I know I don't have the option of going home, if I have a test to study for or something.

The worst is when I get sick, and all I want is my mom and dad.

When I'm on vacation, I don't get homesick, I more so get tired of the people I'm around. Business trips though, I love because I can isolate myself when necessary.
