Rep Power: 26   | Can Guys and Girls Ever Be Just Friends? Do you think its possible? Ever to have a friendship with the opposite sex without one of them wanting to take it further? maybe not always to the extreme of one of them being in love with the other? but on some level, someone always wants to be more than just friends. Im just wondering cause recently one of my male friends tried to jump me, and then one of my friends told me a story about how some guy shes known for years and always considered as just a friend recently confessed he wanted her. It just seems that friendships are always being complicated by feelings. Any thoughts on the matter? | |

Rep Power: 24 | *edit* That was odd, there was no post just a title lol. It's not easy. Straight guys are attracted to chics. Maybe if the chic is really unattractive and not appealing to the guy, or a butch lesbian. Guys tend to grow attached after time. When you think about it, no real relationship is going to work if you are not good friends with your gf/bf. So, it is no surprise that guys often have a thing, or develop a thing over time to a chic he is good friends with, and spends a lot of time together with. |

Rep Power: 26 | Thinking though about my male friends, many of them I engage in some level of flirtatious behaviour, on my part its cause I find them attractive, dunno what their excuse is, so that there enforces my friendship/relationship theory. There are very few of my friendships with guys that are completely platonic! | |
