Well the whole thing was kind of a joke really. But then I started thinking that it would be a good way to stick it to France and some of those countries that talk shit about us, but are happy to accept our aid money. They should feel an obligation to help us out, but I guess there is nothing honorable about those countries.
Obviously the U.S. will never stop giving aid to countries and they shouldn't. But when I see other countries turn their backs on us when we have bailed them out in dire situations.....it just pisses me off.
But you are correct Miakal. Stopping aid would not be the answer.
