It was not meant as an offensive statement, but just as a pretty well proven fact. When we were sending troops to Afghanistan and Iraq I believe (correct me if I am wrong here) that England and Canada were the only countries that sent troops to help us in the fight. Other countries sent troops to perform "non-combat related duties". I beleive that we should have had more help, even though we did not need it really. I feel that America was betrayed by much of the world. So it is issues such as that which make me say statements such as I said. But it was not meant to be offensive at all, but really more out of dissapointment. Australia has been an ally of the United States in the past and I still consider them to be.

Well personally, i was against the Iraqi invasion. However, that doesn't mean i don't support troops risking life and limb there following their orders. but thats a politcal debate for another time.

Having said that, whether you consider that as "well proven fact" or not, it was close-minded and said with the American attitude that the majority of the world tend to despise.

In my humble Australian (and therefore not important) opinion. :P

I've always wondered something. Everybody says the world hates america, now i'm Canadian and i dont HATE America. I hate a lot of things in America but for the most part americans themselves are pretty smart good people. But what I've wondered, is if it really came down to it...
Say somebody new was in power in America and he was nuts and decided he REALLY hates Canada so he decides to attack. Now whats gonna happen, if the rest of the world really hates America? Is everybody gonna get behind them Americans and take out Canada or is everybody gonna come help us out up here??
I think if it happened like that, everybody would go after America, but if Canada attacked the states everybody would come help America... or how about England? if they attacked the states or the other way around???

Moving on, I'm not offended if certain countries didn't send troops to help us out because it'd be stupid for them to send their people to die for reasons they aren't behind. I'll use simple words here. Everyone knows Hussein was a dickhead. Everyone realized that years ago. But what the fuck are we, the world police? That's not what I want America to be. We had no reason to invade Iraq. I don't give a shit if they did have WMDs (they didn't). We have enough problems here in America that need to be taking care of and seeing how nobody appreciates when we help them out, I'd love to just say "Fuck you [insert country here]" and let everyone fight their own battles.

There are countries who do have our back and them I would lend help to.

I support Israel, how couldn't I? They've been putting up with the bullshit from all these assholes for ages. Enough is enough. The only thing I regret is that they didn't level the whole fucking country. Sure they might not have been directly responsible but they are proven as incompetent retards and it pisses me off that they can't get the place under control themselves.
