Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() | Interesting These polls are a joke anyway. Are you seriously telling me 48% of the population is informed, well read, and interested in world politcs to even know what the hell they are talking about. I have quite a neutral view on the US, I was a staunch supporter of the War in Iraq and the War on Terror and I support the US involvement in Israel. However there gun control, health care, and many domestic issues such as Stem Cell research are a mockery of the so called Great Society. However to gain these viewpoints, I have read countless books, articles and web sites, in favourof my viewpoints and against my viewpoints, I have assessed the arguments in front of me and come to my own conclusions. Are you seriously trying to tell me that even the population have the time, inclination, interest and brain power to come to their own conclusion. Or do you think they watch Farenheit 911 or whatever Dak reads on his night off and come up with the easiest answer available????? |

I do have a sense of humor sometimes.....lol. But I don't really have any poll numbers but I would think that most Americans support our choice to support Israel. Do you think I would be wrong in that thinking since the majority of Amercans are of Christian faith?

I think there is support for Isreal because, the Palestinians terror movement is insistent on suicide bombings which associates them with all kinds of turds in the Middle East. Also by not supporting Isreal the US would effectivley be saying we fucked up 60 years ago. Sorry. Which is not how the Americas do foreign policy.

Right Chewy? Most Americans who are "Christian" do not closely pay attention to the events going on in Israel and probably couldn't tell you anything about it.
| And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (10/10/2008) I don't think we should be governing ourselves. What we need is a king, and every now and then if the king's not doing a good job, we kill him. | |||

Dak is American because his parents had him here and live here now. Bulldog is a Brit because he parents had him in the jolly good UK. If Dak lived in Europe his whole life he would hate America. If Bulldog grew up in New York City, he would be rocking a New York Yankees hat and would be as blissfully ignorant as the rest of us Americans. Why do you non Americans lump the millions and millions of people that live here into one category? That is just plain stupid. Everybody since the history of time has loved what they have and have found reasons to shit all over everyone else simply because it makes them feel better about themselves. The world revolves around the United States, Japan and Saudi Arabia. That's just the way it works Get used to it. Even the Beatles couldn't stick around jolly good England. I have a little wrestling analogy for you Brits and Canucks. America = WWE UK + Canada = TNA The WWE doesn't worry about what TNA is doing 24/7 and basically continues to move right along as if TNA doesnt even exist. Meanwhile TNA takes shots at WWE almost weekly, yet can't leave its tiny little arena in Universal Studios, has trouble keeping guys under contract, or paid while Vince and the boys travel the entire US and Canada making millions. Worry about your own shit, then come talk to "us" I really don't understand why so many people think that "we" all reflect our president. That's just ignorance. If you ask me, most of the people in this country think George Dubya is the worst president in the history of the US.

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | Dak, I was merely pointing out how niave your statement about Israel sounded. The overwhelming majority, maybe even you, doesn't even understand our support to Israel. Furthermore, that's not even the point I'm making. The point I'm making is that you have to understand why, on the global scale, our position is unpopular. It has nothing to do with hating or loving America, though you may wish it to. |
