Well, not the slutty part, but the drugs and grades. The only way I stayed away from drugs so long is becuase my parents bought me shit. Course, this creates a whole new problem, but at least they won't be dead. | |

They tried offering us a drink when I was 15 just to see if I'd like it, but I didn't want to as the thought of beer and alchohol disgusted me. Of course, they offered it to me in our house when none of my friends were there. Now at 24 I just started drinking the past year and a half. I did it because I wasn't pressured by anyone, and my parents weren't anal about watching my every move. It's like a bunch of people I know whose parents sent them to catholic school, wouldn't let them watch tv at night, they couldn't play sports because of the "demons". Now one of them is a stripper, one is dead due to drugs, and the other one left home at 19. A good parent is one who knows when to let their kids experiment, and when to intervene. | |
