Since most of us are pretty young here, do you guys participate in the Christmas celebration of giving out presents and stuff? Or do you buy anything or friends on their birthdays?
I don't bother with birthday presents for my friends anymore, if their a close friend i'll buy them a card, but usually I'll buy them a drink while we're out celebrating.
As for Xmas, I only buy the family stuff, nothin for my friends.
We still do the Christmas festivities at the house all of us grew up in. We all still buy each other presents for birthdays too.
Nothing for friends really. We usually draw names at work and have a Christmas party though.

From about the age of 14 my mom paid for most of the presents I gave out to my huge family of like 40 cousins and aunts and uncles. Around 16 I started paying for most of it, but when I started going to university last year I used it as my Get out of Jail Card to "being too busy and cheap to buy presents". Or hope that my extended family assumed it.
our family is very close. we celebrate all the holidays together when we can. yes i still buy my three older sisters and my brother birthday presents. even their kids lol
I think I bought 1 or 2 friends a christmas gift each year but now I don't. I don't think I will do it this year. For birthdays, I usually only get them a card.
For my family which is my mom, dad, and sister, I get them a gift for their respective birthdays and christmas though.

Not really. I get my nephew something because he kind of expects it. My brother and dad I just do it if I can find something and it's easy. If not, fuck them.
