Why do people always bash presidents? There are always skits about them, late night shows always make jokes. Im not just talking about bush. People bashed Clinton when he was president. And so forth. If Kerry would have won people would of bashed him also. Our next president you better beleive he will get bashed.

Why is this? Why cant we just trust our leader? Why do we think we could do a better job?

I don't think it's always bashing, the US president is one of the most high profile people in the world and that makes them easy targets for jokes. Things like SNL skits and late night talk show jokes are usually meant as jests(like roasts), Gore and Bush even joined in on separate skits back in 2000.

There are some who bash the president without the good natured intentions, our current president has given them plenty of legitimate reasons to bash him though.

I don't just mean bashing. I also mean just negative stuff. Saying president blah blah sucks. I know they are high profile so its easy target. But there are a lot of bush haters. There were a lot of clinton haters. Seems like whoever is president people will hate. Why? Its just a waste of time.

It always goes like this; current president is an absolute moron and the president directly before him was an amazing president even though he did nothing different. Just wait until 2008 comes around and us americans elect someone else. People will be saying things like, "oh I'd even take dubya over this guy."

I agree again. I found that out running a business. If you give people outlets to bitch through, they'll bitch just because they can. Eventually if you supress them so greatly, you hear nothing out of them.

People generally hate authority. It's hard because, though it's stupid, it's hard not to hate the President (regardless of his party).
