When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
Luke 21:20-28
I know. I can smell you from here. It's called soap. Use it.
And now, here it is...your moment of Carlin (12/1/2008)
There is no part of American life that hasn't been soiled by the new, softer, artificial language. It's everywhere. When you travel, you notice it in the hotel business, or as they prefer to think of themselves now, the hospitality industry.
You need a really kick ass bath to enjoy it. I will never take a bath in my apartment. First of all, I am too tall for it. Second, it is apart of the shower, so there's a door there. Give me a house with a hot tub bath, and you'll see me in there every morning (with women from the night before, oh yeah).
Yeah showers for sure, much quicker and cleaner I find. Tho' baths are always nice if your beat out/tired so you can just chill out and "soak" hah but even then I always turn on the shower to shampoo and stuff.
My bathtub is too small to enjoy(I can't even fully stretch out my legs), so it's showers for me usually. I prefer showers anyways since with baths you are essentially sitting in your own filth.
