To be honest, if no one saw me do it(and there are no security cameras around) I would probably just leave a note that says "I'm sorry" and leave. I wouldn't want to have to pay for the damage.
If someone saw me, i'm not sure what I would do then.

This is gonna' sound stupid, but once when I was a kid, I was riding my bike by myself in the hospital parking lot and somehow I managed to ride right into a parked car. Either way I rode away like hell and dont think I've ever thought of it again until now!
And in another incident, I was riding around on the hood of my friends car last summer, and I had a half case of beer with me, then the bastard jammed on the brakes and I flew off, landing on the beer bottles, which broke under me, so I was pissed and kicked a huge dent into his car. We stopped talking for awhile cuz he kept asking for money, but he's the one who tried to drive off and then stupidly jammed on the brakes, so I refuse to ever pay him, but were still best friends, and the dent lives happily ever after.
I don't know if this is one of my biggest automobile fears or driving along by myself and my car breaks down in the middle of traffic somewhere.

I haven't dented someone's car… yet, ha ha, but I've scratched some paintwork by accident. It was a big Mercedes, so I figured the owner would have enough money to fix it up.
One time in a snow storm I backed into a car. We both jumped out of our cars, tried to see if there was any damaged, shrugged, and then ran back to our cars.
When I got home I realized there was a ton of red paint on mine.
I also once hit a car with a snowplow. I was like 16. My dad paid for it.
