At first, i would be extremely dissapointed. Not for the fact that my kid would have taken that sexual preference, but because it would be a lot harder for me then to have grandchildren, which is something i look forward to in my latter years.
But with the immediate issue, once again i would be 110% supportive. I have no issue with homosexual people and i respect their courage for sticking to their convictions and feelings in a world that isnt extremely tolerant of those choices.

Im with 37, its my sons choice to make. Its pretty rare for people to be ok in my town with homosexuals because I live in a redneck town with people that think its wrong to be gay, but ok with being a carpet muncher (which of course is sexy, who doesnt like HLA).

In honest opinion I agree with Ino, but I'd try and get over it.
I'd be really really sad about it, I would put myself in his place, and acknowledge how hard it would be for him to come out and tell people (Including his father) and I would have a certain amount of respect for him in that sense, but at the end of the day, I'd be depressed everytime I'd think about it and gay people in general.
Id never laugh at a Will and Grace episode ever again, not even kidding. And I love that show.

I would not be accepting of it at all. I would still talk to them I guess if they made the effort, but the relationship would be severely damaged.
