| Whiners Do you have friends that are constantly whining about one thing or another? Isn't it annoying? And whenever you have a problem they couldn't be any less interested. I am a pretty negative person. I constantly talk about depressing things. If my apartment had a beam for me to hang myself I'd just do it. But when I'm depressing and whining it's funny. We all are entertained. Whining about women or men in the romantic realm is the worst. What can I do about it? Nothing. Nobody wants to listen to reasonable advice either. I tell people to get high, kill themselves, get a hooker, or just find another sexual partner. One of those can solve your problem. | ||||||||||||||

| Doesn't this just reflect low self esteem. The type of person that listens to everybody else's problems and then, when the boot is on the other foot, finds those friends aren't able to reciprocate should just get new friends. It smacks of low self esteem is they then keep these people around them who are not worthy. | |||||||||||||||

| Hey, what the hell are you trying to say? hahahahahhaahah. You are right though. However, when you've been friends with someone for several years it's hard to just dump them and move on. It's easier to just find another way to use them: money, drugs, sex, food, or the ultra-combo of all those things and avoid putting your feelings into conversation. | ||||||||||||||

| Actually all my friends are like that, except one who I unload all my problems on (I call him my NA sponsor), but the difference is he always twist it so it makes it sound like he has had it worse, its hard to explain. | Most of my male friends and I don't talk much about depressing issues, that's what the women are for. They are more understanding and willing to sit there and give out advice or just listen. He doesnt nag on and complain about everything, but its just people, hes terribly anti-social and basically hates all people, hes admitted that hes given up on society.
