After another two semesters of full-time classes and no job, I'm back out into the workforce.

Where the hell should I go?

Last summer I did manual labour for a really good wage, and I got in really great shape (long, long gone), but I just don't know if I can bring myself back to a place like that. I had thought about tree-planting, but I was okay with that since it was a way to get off the Island for a while.

I don't have any real retail experience outside of a shitty pizza place I worked at in high school.

Where should I go?

Hah yeah, unless I find some other place to live. It's a pretty big island though, that's not the concern. Like there's a city here and everything.

I know COSTCO is hiring, and I've spent the better part of a year laughing at how lazy the people who work there are. I don't know if applying there would be fantastic or pathetic.

Wouldn't it be great to work at a music store? Then you can save us all. When little kids try to buy the new Sean Paul CD you can direct them to something that doesn't make me want to kill myself.

If the job sucks you might as well be doing next to nothing. That's my belief.

Hotels aren't bad. They kind of suck to work at. If you are in a small town and you do the night shift it's a lot better. Nobody comes in. Those people go into rooms and watch tv and shit, that's how dead it is.

I think I've applied to every music store in town a few hundred times.

Except the really indie one I always shop at... those guys would laugh me off the island.

I just applied to every single packie in town, I believe some have maybe a 10% discount for employees. That's big.
