The worst kind of lonely, aside from the kind where Thirty7 PMs you in the middle of the night to tell you about his girlfriend and about how unlonely he is and how lonely you are, is the kind when you are with someone yet still feel low and blue.

Anyone with me on this? Ever have this happen?

Seriously. Sometimes you are in a relationship (not me) and you still feel like a lonely bitter asshole. x10. That's th worst kind. Because you have the things that you think you need and it's still not enough.

I was in a relationship a few years back, not unlike this place you speak of. For a stretch of about a week in the summer, I literally had no idea where she had gone. It didn't help that at that point in my life, I was shit-terrified of telephones, and when I tried calling her, there was nothing, no answer from anybody.

A week in the middle of summer for a high school kid shouldn't ever be so harrowing as literally losing your girlfriend.

hahahahhahahhaha. I had a super whore girlfriend when I was 18'ish. She dropped off the face of the planet for a week.

I couldn't get a hold of her at all, just like your story.

So I called up her friend and said, "Is she fucking somebody else?"

And she said, "Yes."
