As you may already have pieced together. I quit my job. I found out that the manager was trying to slowly phase me out of the company, so i thought bollocks to that and told him, that i'm handing in my notice. So as of this Saturday i will be a free man!.....and broke

Coles. Supermarket here. Was pretty high up on the totem pole before this manager came to the store. I took exception to the fact that he only started hiring 15 year old girls instead of qualified people.

yea. he is probably a pedophile. i worked in a supermarket before and it absolutely sucked. they would make you pay union for no reason.

True. Union is pointless. It's impossible to get fired anyways from a place like that. That's why he had to try and phase me out, by reducing hours and responsibilities

That happened to me at another place. They just wrote me off the schedule. Because I called like 3 days wheni was scheduled when i asked for the days off to begin with.

I know how you feel. At my job we got a new District Manager and she made it really rough on all of us basically constantly telling us how our store was the worst store in her district and it always stayed a mess and that sort of thing. I really thought about quitting, but I had built up a pretty good hourly wage since I have been there for five years. I opted to just go down to part time and go back to school full time. That worked for me. Now I just go in on the weekends and never have to hear from the District Manager.

My boy works at a gas station/market type deal and they are trying to phase him out. He's been working like 50-something hours a week and making more money then the manager so now they cut him back to like three days and hired more people. He's pissed. He was thinking about just leaving the job the other day unnattended and going to the casino with us, but he wants to find another job first.

yea, i wouldn't reccomend just quitting some place without another job. cuz then if you can't find one youll be fucked.
