Profile:thirty7

As something of a parody, I thought that I would post profiles on various big name posters and people in the JVN fields. First up (and more than likely last) is thirty7 (aka me).

thirty7 Inc., an Australian-based sarcastic witty poster, develops, manufactures, supports and markets a wide range of personal jokes, innuendo, wrestling opinion, blind patriotism, television quotes and more. He employs more than 2,900 jokes forum-wide as of 2006. According to the JVN 500 2005 list, thirty7 ranks as the 20th-largest poster in the Open Forum by posts. In 2005, Fortune magazine ranked thirty7 as No. 1 on its annual list of the most-admired posters in the Open Forum, displacing Miakal, who had held the top spot for the previous two years and fell to No. 4. Thirty7 has its corporate headquarters in Perth, Western Australia in Australia.

History
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eric thirty7 (yes that’s the legal name), while still a student at Senior High School at Girrawheen, founded his account as "S.M.J" in 2004 to sell moron-compatible opinions built from years of wrestling and television knowledge. He founded the account on the principle that by selling personal opinions directly to other foumers, JVN could best understand their needs and provide the most effective opinions to express those needs.
In January 2006 the stress of non-stop sarcastic quips and troubles coming from personal life increased, as revealed in the company's press releases for the first two quarters of its calendar 2006 year. In an effort to improve his material and reduce long rants, thirty7 had a very brief hiatus. Recharging both his batteries and forum acceptance and tolerance to his posts. The site had quickly begun losing traffic over a lack of overquoted reference. As of the end of January 2006, thirty7 has returned to divert some of his support back to JVN from another Seinfeld based forum in Boston, Mass.
thirty7 received a 100% roar of approval by the posting group that evaluates gender-preference practices of social bodies in the United States of America. In February 2006, thirty7 once again appeared in first place in a ranking of the "Most Admired Posters" published by Fortune magazine.
thirty7 has operated a domestic PM center in Girrawheen, Perth since 2004.

Business model
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
thirty7 sells all his quotes both to posters and serial lurkers, using a direct-sales model via the Internet. Thirty7 also showcases its consumer-oriented opinionss at kiosks in major shopping malls until asked by law enforcement officers to move. Thirty7 maintains a positive rep cycle through use of this model. The Internet has significantly enhanced thirty7’s business model, making it easier for customers to contact thirty7 directly. Other posters, including Bulldog and Blitz, have adapted this same business model.

Organization
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Board of Directors of nine people runs the poster. Both Eric thirty7, the founder of the account, and Gene Snisky, the CEO, serve on the board. Other board members include Seth MacFarlane, Jack Bauer, Jesus…..Aguilera, Ash Ketchum, Delta Goodrem, Doug E. Doug and Brad Johnson. Shareholders elect the nine board members at meetings, and those board members who do not get a majority of votes must submit a resignation to the board, which will subsequently choose whether or not to accept the resignation. The board of directors usually sets up five committees which have oversight over specific matters. These committees include the Humour Committee, which handles hilarity issues, including overdoing and repeating; the Social Committee, which approves social activities for the CEO and other employees of the company; the Graphics Committee, which handles graphic matters such as proposing signatures and avatars; the Downloading and Uploading Committee, which handles various data transfer matters including collecting of useful multimedia; and the Moral Compliance Committee, which attempts to prevent company practices from violating sane and decent morals.
The corporate structure and management of thirty7 extends beyond the board of directors. The Thirty7 Global Executive Management Committee sets the strategic direction for how the poster keeps forumers at the forefront, from designing and manufacturing coherent arguments to offering opinions that meet forumers' diversity.

Competition
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
thirty7's major competitors include Bulldog/David, Dakard Bell, Miakal Microsystems, Jimmy/Slimmachines, Erinovo, Spykey, and Tosshiba. Enthusiast market competition takes place with Ramboware, Freak Northwest, SabacPC and other posters. In 2006, thirty7 has a 1.39% share of the forum’s posts.

Criticism
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
thirty7 has a policy of only selling jokes with Intelligent processes required, and does not offer un-biased Ric Flair opinions. Moderators have speculated that thirty7 may have signed an exclusive arrangement with another forum, possibly in return for higher status or for advertising incentives. But this is not the case. Thirty7's major competitors offer a choice of either unbiased Naitch talk or Unintelligent jokes. This has cost thirty7 some sales to lower-end desktop posters, especially in the rural-corn fields, where posters show thought processes function slower for most. Thirty7 Flair opinions, notabily the Foley conflicts, have the tendency to make him overheat and shut down: thirty7 issued a heavily-publicised boycott for this 57 year old product.
In 2006, two class-action lawsuits accused thirty7 of marketing with bait-and-switch tactics and of conspiring with its humour unit to offer zero percent originality, only to revoke the idea after the thought of what would become of the board had occured.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

According to the JVN 500 2005 list, thirty7 ranks as the 20th-largest poster in the Open Forum by posts. In 2005,

Someone should do something like that. Like a top 20 list or something.
