Have you ever sat back and thought about how every decision you make could change your life? Now I'm not talking about big decisions such as job changes, or deciding wehther or not you're going to go to college. Those are obviously going to change your life. Imagine, what if you had sat with the "ghetto" kids at school rather than the jocks and found yourself being suspended, rather than commended for your play in last nights game. Or what if you had gone to that party where the beautiful who had a crush on you was there hoping to see you. Maybe you were going to go to that party, but instead you had to stop and take a pee first. The difference in that minute it took you to, was the minute it took the drunk to leave. You get the point. It's one of those philosphy thoughts again.

I'd stay partly because I'd be thinking "what if I meet the girl of my dreams tonight...or at the least an awesome shag, I will always have regretted going home". You just have to accept the fates and ride the moves as time takes us on a never ending journey of......oh shit I've turned into a freakin' hippy. I do often think, what if I had taken the job of being Chewy when it was on offer. Oh sure, there's a downside, but being so dumb like that you'd never realise there was a downside to it. I'd be happy to be obliviously happy like him!! I do think (seriously) what if I never met my wife the night I did. My kids wouldn't exist, that's a bit of a mindblower when they're asleep in the room next to me. I know I'd have just ended up back with my ex and been married, divorced, married again and divorced by now.

There has been times where I sat back and imagined what life would be like if I dident take that first drug, tried harder at school, or even gave it my all at one of my jobs. There was even been times where (like Ino said) I wish I could go back in time and talk to that sweet piece of ass that was making eyes at me. But then I ask myself would I be the same man as I am today? The answer is no because every choice I made in life and everything I did or said was made for a reason, it made me who I am today and the man I will be tomorrow. Another thing you have to ask yourself is maybe the choices you made affected another person in there direction in life, like for example (I probably won't but...) I brought this topic to a NA meeting tonight and it helped another addict stay clean, he goes on to discover the Lost City of Alantis because he doesnt always think about drugs all the time, so now he has the right mind set and the money to buy a submarine and everything to full fill his purpose in life which was to make a dent in History which also means Ino full filled part of his purpose in life also. Think about it.

I moved out here from Toronto at the beginning of Grade 6, and on the first day of school, I went to my assigned classroom and sat through a couple periods. I had started to make a couple friends (two kids who have turned out total losers), before the school counsellor came in, grabbed me, and took me to a different classroom. In that classroom were four of the five people who, to this day, are my very best friends.

I don't think about that shit cuz I can't even remember what happened yesterday so I don't even remember much from the past to be honest. Plus I know the people I didnt hang out with and shit I wouldn't have got along with anyways.
