It's pretty good in my area. The only problem I have with it is the high prices. Since I live more centrally while I’m in Uni I tend to walk more often than not, as I refuse to pay the prices they charge.

How much do they charge over there. Here it is 90 cents for the bus locally(going in the city/1 town over) and subway is $1.25.

Well from where I live centrally it’s £1.05 ($1.86) to go into town which is ridiculous in my eyes since it’s literally only a 2min ride. From where I live when I’m not in Uni it’s £1.65 ($2.92).

Jesus that is ridiculous. People complain over here about the fares being too high and it is one of the cheapest public systems over here. they complained before when it went from.75 to .90.

Our rates normally go up every 6 months by 5p so I reckon it'll probably be going up now again in the next month or two.

Here it's $1.25 in the city and most of the suburbs surrounding the city. The service is usually good though, plenty of buses available and the buses themselves are in pretty good shape.

The only time it's annoying is sometimes during the summer when the bus is filled with people and there is only standing room(although that rarely happens). I rarely ride the bus now though.

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.

It costs me £1.50 to go 2.5 miles into university. I havent really thought about it, I usually dont have to take the bus anyway.

Give it time

Take it every day to work. I have the monthly bus pass that is automatically taken out of my chequing account. Yep, $90 every month and the service is crappy. Oh well, what you gonna do when you don't drive.

Take it to Uni and back four times a week. Pay £75 a month for a fairly lengthy trip (45 minute journey each way on the direct bus, hour and a half on the non-direct).

Drivers are utter shit. Don't care, if you are grumpy, you get grunted at, if you try and be friendly or smile, they ignore you or just grunt. Buses aren't always clean.
