Rep Power: 15 ![]() | The only person i've been close to that died was this woman who knew me since I was born and was like a grandmother to me. I was pretty sad, and was honored to be chosen to be one of the pallbearers at her funeral. I'm not really afraid of my own death since everyone has to go at some point, I just hope I die peacefully in my sleep and that my last few years aren't spent in pain. |

It's gonna happen eventually, so it is just something in life you are going to have to accept. That's why I don't give a fuck about any of these other people with all the money and shit bragging bout what they got. Cuz them motherfuckers are gonna die too and in the end we all the same.

I will refer to the bible for the reason. 1 Corinthians 15:55-15:58. 55 “ O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

My great grandfather died when I was really young, but I wouldn't say I was close to him. As for me passing away? I don't think i'm scared of it. It has to happen to all of us, unless there is a major scientific break through in the next 50 odd years, so it's something we're all going to have to deal with. However when the day has to come I just hope and pray that it is painless, and quick. Ideally I'd like to go to sleep and never wake up.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | My aunt died last year, but I wasn't particularly close to her, so I can't say that it really affected me much. I can't say that I'm scared of dying, but then again, I don't want it to happen any time soon. It'll happen to all of us someday. I've always felt that on the day you're born, the date of your death is set, and there's not much that you can do about it. Agree with Rambo about people bragging about money and stuff they got. In the end, it's not like they're gonna take it with them. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | My gramps died in 1996 on February 29. I miss that man, I miss that man. I think I would love to have my ( future) family around me when I go. It would be nice to go with a huge smile on my face. |

Both my Grandpa's have died already. I, unfortunately, didn't get to know my Mom's dad real good since when he died I was only 6 and for awhile he was struggling with lung cancer. My Dad's dad died in 2002. That was awful. Both struggled with health issues the last portion of their life, and while they still enjoyed every bit of it, it's comforting knowing that they're in a better place now.

Rep Power: 10 ![]() | Let's see, my granpa died when I was 12 and I was very close to him and it was very hard for me at the time. My grandmother passed when I was about 23, wasn't that close to her. I'll admit I'm scared of dying and don't want it to happen anytime soon. It's the whole heaven/hell thing that freaks me out. You get pounded in your head that you'll go to Hell if you don't go to church, but as I've always said, if you're told he's all around, he's not Elvis - you know in the same place on the same day. So I don't think I'm going to Hell directly when I die, just roasting my ass in purgatory for a while.
