How hard do you work when you work?

I'm fairly certain I've done this thread before but circumstances change.

When you go into work do you give it your all or do you do the least you can possibly do to get by?

I hate it when people brag about how they are a "hard worker" yet work at Walmart. What are you working hard for? What's the fucking point?

Now that I have a new job that's more geared towards what I'm interested in I work fairly hard. However, at my last job I barely did anything. I sat on the computer all day long looking at JVN. I only worked when shit started to pile up or when I had to travel (which was frequent but still...I hardly did anything).

I don 't have to work that hard. All I do is drive and open the doors for people to get in and out.

At my work, not very hard. I've shown that I'm capable of doing so much more and they haven't made the effort to promote me, so I'm not going to make the effort for them.

At Uni, I work really hard, I can study nine hours straight as long as I take in a couple of bottles of water or diet coke or something and feel contented at the end, I never used to be like that, but I really love the course.

And afterwards, I can go to the Uni bar which does a JD & Coke for £1.20, or a pint of Grolsch for £1

I used to give about 10%. We're opening 3 more offices though (In New York, Illinois and North Carolina) which means I have to get work done. But on the bright side, I'm getting paid time and a half on Monday, and did so on Friday as well.

Nah I drive buses LOL. I gotta work fucking tonight too from 10pm-4am which I am fucking pissed about. There is no way I can stay up that late seeing during the week i have to get up at 5 am to go to work.
