Intelligent Design declared unconstitutional?

Well the decision came through today in the Pennsylvania Intelligent Design case. A federal judge said that it resembled Creationism too much to be taught in a Science class and ultimately that is was a constitutional issue. So it looks like at some point in the future the Supreme Court is going to have to tackle this issue.

So what do you think? Do you think it should be decided upon by the U.S. Supreme Court?

I agree with that judge, ID is basically just creationism so it should not be taught in science class. I think those people in Pennsylvania might try to bring it to the US Supreme Court, and if they do I hope they have the same feeling as the Pennsylvaina judge.

I don't really know, if they rule the same way as that federal judge than yes I do think it should be decided upon by the Supreme Court. I'm just worried that they might rule that ID can be taught in schools.

The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land. I think they should make the decision and no matter if I agree with it or not, I will accept it.

But I must say that it looks good for Intelligent Design with the newest members of the Supreme Court, including Chief Justice Roberts himself, being pretty Conservative.

Go look at the thread Disco created for evidence of how silly ID is.

The Supreme Court has been wrong before, but since I was lucky enough that teachers in my area weren't silly enough to believe in ID I never had to learn about it in school. I will accept whatever the SC rules, but that doesn't mean I will accept it.

Well I didn't really create this thread to stir up the whole topic again. I was just hoping for some views on it being sent to the Supreme Court or not. We have all ready debated the topic of Intelligent Design on this forum in the past......and in great detail I might add. No reason to get into all that again. :thumbsd:
