What memories will you take from 2005?

Personal life, from news etc.

First will be the strangest three days of my life.

WEDNESDAY 6th JULY: Went to the Scottish Live8 (held on the day of the arrival of Bush and the others, unlike any other Live8 Concert), and had the most incredible night of my life with the likes of Bono, James Brown, Bob Geldof, Midge Ure Annie Lennox, The Proclaimers, Feeder etc, and left feeling full of hope and love and understanding of the problems of this strange planet

THURSDAY 7th JULY: Woke up at around mid-day, news of the London Bombings were on, heard about the stations and was sick shortly afterwards, had a family member that used those stations at that sort of time, tried getting through endless times to get a generic error message. Finally got through, he was fine as he started work early that day.

FRIDAY 8th JULY: Off to second T in the Park.

It was absolutely bizarre, it was just all sorts of emotions and fear and relief wrapped into each other.

I'll remember finishing college, five weeks to go I caught the flu and wasn't able to study for three weeks. Went back with 4 weeks of work to do in 2 weeks, two days later, my lecturer was signed off with stress. Somehow finished.

Last night was amazing, hadn't been out properly for two months because of Uni, started at the Universitys club, £1 for a JD & Coke, spent loads there, then we all moved onto this club that only does 70s and 80s music, and just danced away to Duran Duran and James Brown and T-Rex. Was a great release, slept on my mates floor, went down town the next day and had a big hangover-curing cooked breakfast.

What memories are you going to take from this year?

Past live: The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Placebo, Hank Marvin & The Shadows, Kasabian, Dogs Die In Hot Cars, The Glitterati, The Zutons, Wu-Tang Clan, Starstailor, The Libertines, Muse, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Wet Wet Wet, The Bravery, PJ Harvey, Kings of Leon, Pixies, Snow Patrol, McFly, Busted, Sucioperro, The Ordinary Boys Alamos, Texas, The Subways, The Boxer Rebellion, Dogs, The Raveonettes, The Proclaimers, Embrace, Annie Lennox, The Thrills, Feeder, Bob Geldof, Faithless, Midge Ure, The Alabama 3, Morning Runner, The Magic Numbers, Keane, The Go! Team, Mull Historical Society, British Sea Power, The Coral, Editors, Foo Fighters, Nine Black Alps, Eagles of Death Metal, Bright Eyes, The Tears, Devlin Love, My Latest Novel, Teenage Fanclub, Idlewild and more. Up And Coming Gigs: Nine Black Alps, The Longcut, The Zico Chain, Stellastarr*, The Twenty-Twos, Alamos

Meeting Adam Gilchrist, meeting Rove McManus, getting out of the state for the first time. Apart from that it's been shit house

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

what memories will i take from 05!!

well mostly all the time ive spent with gemm, i love her loads!!

going to the audioslave gig with her! was awesome because audioslave tore the place down with old rage songs and soundgarden songs as well as the current material.. I will never forget the crowd erupting when the kicked into a rage medly, and cornell came back on singing sleep now in the fire. During the gig, one side of the arena, the seated area wasnt really moving too the music and cornell told them to get up and jump around but they didnt. So they dropped Killing In The Name, with everyone screaming Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me!!! I was bouncing i was loving it, easily the best gig ive ever been too...

going to taste of chaos, somebody not naming no names was very drunk and i practically had to carry her to the car!!! lol..... Story of The Year were awesome, and they said when they were performing that they would be back in cardiff soon!! Not long after i got hold of tickets for their gig here in April... Funeral For a Friend on their home leg of the taste of chaos, back in wales, first time ive seen them live and they were also very good!! good times!!

I'll have to think of some more
