What do you class as cheating?

Over the past week I have been speaking to a friend who's girlfriend has split with him for "cheating". He says that he didn't cheat seeing as he never had sex with the other girl... she says that any contact in that sense with the opposite sex is cheating. So what do you guys think? What should be classed as cheating and what are your boundaries?

My rules are

1.) A kiss is bad but not cheating and something I'd probably let pass as long as it was a one off.
2.) Sex with another person is automatic get the fuck out of my house before I punch you in the tits.

A buddy of mine has a very liberal idea of what cheating is, and feels that as long as he doesn't play hide the tip, he is guilt free. He conqequently makes out (going as far as oral) with everyone he can.

I look at cheating as what I wouldn't accept my girlfriend doing with another guy. I would have a serious problem with her kissing another guy, so in my mind that's cheating.

I kinda have the same view. Although if she were to admit to kissing someone else, then I think I may be a little more forgiving. But if she does it more than once then shes gone.

I have to agee with Mister D and Deadly D, including being able to forgive if she admits to kissing someone else but if she does it again she's gone.
