Rep Power: 19 | This whole issue would be a lot less scary if the indivudals they were picking up had actual terrorist ties. When they just pick people off the street, and that's exactly what they've done in the past, and start torturing them you get a lot of outrage. This administration has absolutely no depth when it comes to this war. As Chewy mentioned, it's not winning over anyone in the Middle East. That would be fine if we were doing something to benefit the war but picking up people for no reason whatsoever is just careless. These people come back eventually and they tell everyone of the crimes America has committed---that's happened several times now. |

Rep Power: 19 | C-Span, PBS, and 60 minutes had a show about this last year. They interviewed a few people who were picked up and they had absolutely no connection to terrorism whatsoever. |

Rep Power: 15 | Who cares if our goverment does it? I would be surprise if most countires didn't have secret prisons and didn't conduct torture. I'm not condoning it, but it's not that big of a deal since it's not like other countries aren't doing the same thing.. |
