..despite the spring-like weather we are having. I'm not complaining, I hope it stays like this all winter.

However, I didn't start this thread to talk about local weather patterns. Although, that would be one hell of a topic. Rather, I'm curious how everyone is doing with their holiday shopping.

I'm hoping I'm almost done. I absolutely despise going anywhere near the malls as it gets closer to the big day. Bad enough to go shopping in July, let alone during that crap.

I haven't bought anyone anything yet. I only really buy things for my father. My brother I give money or a gift card somewhere because he doesn't really care.

I'll get my nephew something, probably some sort of talking Spongebob romancer.

I loved it last week when we got snow, I love winter weather and it sucks on warm it's been.

The only people i'm really getting presents for are my sister and mother, and both of them involve stuff at beatuy salons and they said they want it after Christmas, so I don't have to worry about the crowds.

I bought flowergirl all kinds of Spongebob stuff, both this year and last. Hardest part is keeping her from playing with any of it before xmas.

Don't tell me you got her that SpongBob TV or DVD player, that stuff is really getting out of hands. Kids younger than 10 don't need TV's in their room.

I did most of my shopping online last year, back when I had credit cards. It was good, yes. But credit cards are evil & it felt better than sex to cut them all up earlier this year.

No but we were looking at that and the Dora one. I don't think it's possible to raise a kid today without a TV & Hi-Speed internet connection in each one of their rooms.

I wouldn't have a problem with kids having their own TV's, but then you have people complaining about violence and sex being on TV and try to force the TV stations to remove this stuff instead of having parents monitor what their kids watch.
