One time I fell down in the library, got up, and then hobbled around as if I were drunk.
It sucks in the winter on the ice. Even though you have an excuse you still can't help feeling like a complete jackass.
It's happened to me coming into school a few times (and I'm usually late and in a hurry). It sucks.

At work once, I was walking up the 3 stairs there is to the office, and I tripped over a stair and almost hit my head on a counter. I went underneath the counter and then I said, "I'm ok, nothings wrong" and then I heard the chuckles from the one person sitting in the office.
Was actually at a RAW taping and when I went to sit down I missed my seat by about a foot and crashed to the floor. My friends were giggling at me, thank God it was a solid barrier.

In grade 11 our school had a Iron Man competition, a sort of track-and-field meet, mixed with other athletic events. Anyway, I had slaughtered in the baseball throw and shuttle-run events, and we were doing the 200-metre race. There's no real track at my high school, so it's basically just a lap around the soccer field.
Anyway, I was fucking flying. 150m into the race, I'm like twenty strides in front of anyone else. Coming around the final turn, there's like 40 metres left before the finish, and I get the feeling I'm just moving too fast for my legs; you all know the feeling. A few more strides and I start to lose control. I swear to god I'm like 15 metres from the finish line when it just becomes too much. I can't slow down and catch myself or anything, and I know I'm going to fall; I just see the finish line so close in front of me. Instead of just stumbling forward, I dive as far as I can, tucking my shoulder so that when I hit the ground I can roll back upright.
SLAM. I hit the grass ten metres from the end; skid to about five. The wind is knocked the fuck out of me, and I lose.
I've fallen down in school a few times, it is so embarrasing falling down in the cafeteria during lunch when it's full of high school students.

I wear flip-flops everywhere, and the bottoms have no traction. I slip all the damn time if the floor is wet. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater.
