What? According to the Mega Millions web site the jackpot is only up to $310 million, although that is still a hell of a lot of money.

With that amount of money i think i'd give a small portion away, make sure all my family were well looked after and then just have the rest in a bank account.

If you manage your money right you would never have to work again considering that most people never earn $1 million over their entire lifetime. I would first pay off all bills and debts that my family has, then take them and myself on a big shopping spree, and probably put the rest of it in the bank and just live off of the interest it would accumulate. I might want to start my own buisness though, probably something I would enjoy like a video game store.
