When does your ADD kick in?

I am a firm believer that there is a little ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) in everyone. Obviously in various degrees.

My question is.....

How easily do you lose focus of stuff? I do ALL the time, but I have had issues with paying attention all my life.

The reason I ask is. I love when the forum is hopping and people are posting all over the place, but when is it too much for you?

Like today, I look at a thread at the bottom of the page and I say.....shit. I dont remember that thread at all.

I sometimes look at some of my posts and dont even remember typing them.

At what point do you get lost in all the topics.

Fuck, I am lost as shit right now.

In school it's especially bad. I often zone out then realize that I have no idea what's going on. It's bad when you get called on at this point. I usually excuse myself to the bathroom at this point.

I dunno, I am VERY attentive. I am always aware of things that are going on around me and hardly ever lose track of the time. My bro had ADD and he is practically a genius. It annoys the hell out of me because he is always introducing me to people in stories that I already know, or telling me things like 3 and 4 times. I'm like"Ya, you freakin told me that like 5 times already!".

I day dreamalot and ppl can be talking to me and i jus loose it and can only see their mouth move , if im interested im more likely to pay attention. But sometimes when interested i wonder off and loose all track .

Concentrating gets harder as you get older (unlike other things which you wish would get harder and more often).

There is an episode of The Simpsons where Homer says it's impossible to learn new stuff anymore because his mind is full. I feel like that. Concentration is kinda tied in with that whole thing.

My ADD kicks in before I get my first cup of coffee into me or anytime before 11. I'm clueless at that stage.

ADD is an excuse for people who have no self control. I've been in schools for 6 weeks now and the amount of pupils who claim they are ADD is ridicously high
