What's the longest block of depression

I didn't have none of my three women to drive my blues away - Blind Willie McTell

What's the longest period you've had depression for?

Some call it the blues, I call it depression.

I've been depressed for 28 years, and I'm only 24. Figure that out.

Just kidding.

I prefer the term crazy over depressed. Because I have a whole war of emotions going, not just that one, and sometimes I like to randomly remove my trousers.

Soooo lets me think. My depression started in Grade 7 through to Grade 9, then I had a gap for which I had sex. Then I fell back into depression for Grade 10 (near the end), 11 and 12. After getting out of school it lasted up til near a month ago when I discovered Drugs are bad MmKay.

6 Months.

It altered where I was headed with my life too to the point where I am today.

It's a long story, but in the end, the experience made me a stronger person.

People, Im not being funny.. and I dont mean any disrespect, but the ages on some of you... what the fuck do you have to be depressed about?

Its funny, Depression is a fairly recent phenomenon (In medical terms at least). Get off your arses and enjoy life, depression is self inflicted.. and 9 times out of 10 it isnt even 'depression'.

Like Ida mentioning a break up.. Its no fun I know, ive been there.. but thats not true depression.. thats just feeling sorry for ones self and sometimes pining for them to come back.

ive always asscociated depression with losing everything... losing your job, wife walking out on you, debts up to your eyeballs, everything is falling down around you.. THATS a cause for depression.. and not something people of our age and younger are likely to have experienced yet

I wouldn't really call it depression, but around 11th/12th grade I really didn't care about anything. I still did all my schoolwork though and kept in contact with my friends.

I also get the occaisonal "what the hell is wrong with my life?" moment, but that passes after a few minutes.

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.
