I've always been pretty equal in relationships with the serious ones. Neither person has been particularly in charge usually, I think, because we've been friends before it's stepped on a notch or two.

With girls you've met in a bar and dated briefly it's a little different since they don't know the real you so you can play whatever part (sub or dom....again nothing sexual) just so you get your end away.
