Rep Power: 97   | How much money would you need? How much money would you need to be comfortably off for the rest of your life taking everything into account. I'll try to do this in dollars so the majority Americans on here can follow. For those confused £1 (english pound) = $1.77 (us dollars). I would need (to have a pretty good life) £300,000 to buy a good house outright and have no mortgage. I'm not too sure about cars but I'll want at least £50,000 for one or two of those. Working on interest of about 5% I'd want interest of at least £40,000 a year so that I can have a good lifestyle (especially since I wouldn't have a mortgage to pay) which means £800,000 in the bank. So adding that up I'd want £300,000 + £50,000 + £800,000 so probably around £1.15M (which equals around just over $2M). What would be your bottom line fund needed for a good life with all your expensive habbits? You know what I mean? | |
