More competent, more capable, rarely wrong, etc. In a word, "superior." For me, pretty much. There are only a couple people in any of my classes who I look up to, and whose criticism I actually take into consideration. 95% of the drafts I edit for other people are pure shit, as far as I'm concerned. If you're wondering about this thread, I just proofread a screenplay where a couple argues for 8 minutes about their pet cat and fish. Yeah, fucking A'! But seriously, you're no chump, are you?

If it's something I care about a great deal and which I believe I'm knowledgeable about then I can be a total ass and believe my opinions superior. If it's something I'm not sure of my facts about or know little about then it's only right to defer to others knowledge and learn a little yourself. I hate assholes who have to have strong inflexible opinions about everything even though they don't know their subject. That's why I love visiting here....you don't find those kind of people on here at all. Ever. I am wearing my rose tinted spectacles today.

Good topic Freak. I agree with Bullgod completely. One thing you will realize about 16-21 year olds is they all legitamately think they are the king shit of vurtually everything. Hey I was the same way. When you reach my age and above (30) you realize what you are good at and what you absolutely suck at and are willing to listen to others and absorb as much information as you can. Once you realize the world is not your pu pu platter for you to pick apart, you will be better off. Remember NOBODY likes a know it all.

My sister thought she knew everything, and now she's a 20-year old college drop-out working at a liquor store, bouncing around from place to place, sleeping on her friends couches But, she was too stubborn to listen to me and my family when we told her to shape up.
