Some people say sorry so often it loses its effectiveness. Where do you stand? Rarely is it somewhere in the middle. Personally.... There are two sets of people for me. My wife and everyone else. With my wife I feel that I say sorry too much. I think she would agree. I hate to see her upset or thinking I am a dipshit for something stupid I did. But on the flip side, she never says I am sorry. I just know she is when she is. Maybe thats why we are two peas in a pod. haha. We meet in the middle. With the rest of the world, I NEVER apologize unless I truley think I fucked up and feel bad about it. Sometimes I fuck up and don't care, but I never like hurting people's feelings. That is one thing I have tried to change as I got older. The nicer you are to people, you will see the world is nicer to you. I am sorry for this thread. | |

Rep Power: 19 | I hate the sorry concept. I get angry when a g/f tells me she is sorry a lot. How about this? Stop doing whatever it is that you are sorry about and not say anything, that's what I prefer. I will say sorry if I feel like a complete idiot. Sometimes an "I'm sorry" is really just something for that person, it's selfish, it's something that makes them feel less like a tool. Another reason I think it's stupid. I prefer action over words. There's been times where I've messed up big time. I'd rather show that person that I'm not the piece of crap that they think I am rather then just say a few words. I'd rather work for it for months, years, or whatever then just say three words. Unless I want sex. Then: I am sorry. |
