Rep Power: 19 ![]() | Cindy Sheehan Needs to get over it. If you don't know who Cindy Sheehan is she's the woman who lost her son in Iraq and is causing so much woe for President Bush. While I think it's great that she has been able to really give a voice to this anti-war movement and finally show the country that President Bush is a nob and a horrific President, I don't agree with much of anything she says. When Conservatives eat their jew babies and put on their white sheets this is the kind of liberal they complain about. She has no logic. Her son died in Iraq. It's a war. What was she expecting? Where was her protesting before her son died? Why does she just care now? When you go to war this is part of the sacrifice you have to make, regardless of how pointless the war is. The President really doesn't owe her anything. He doesn't have to talk to her. Does he talk to every mother who has lost their child in Iraq? No, he can't do that. He has a guitar to play while hurricanes are killing thousands of people, Nero style. Her argument is faulted and her rants on the microphone are un-educated. I'm sorry about her loss but that's life, especially in times of war. |

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | Is she still down in Texas protesting? I supported her at first but I agree that she needs to get over it already, thanks to Bush we are stuck in Iraq for years and no amount of protesing will change that. Actually I think President Bush does talk to the parents of every soldier killed and Bush did talk to Cindy Sheehan last year when her son was killed. |

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | It wouldn't be that much trouble for him considering that he spent about 20% of his time in office on vacation/working vacation at Camp David/his ranch. |

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | Sadly, it's probably more then 20 percent of his time. Let's also not forget he enjoys fishing in a stocked lake that his father built. Not his Heavenly Father, the one he admits to having conversations with and who selected him to lead, but his biological one. |

Rep Power: 56 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Cindy Sheehan does need to get over it. President Bush all ready talked to her. She is trying to make it sound like he hasn't, but he did. She is only hurting the Democratic party.

Rep Power: 56 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If the Democratic party makes Cindy Sheehan their poster child like they have been doing they will will lose in 2008 worse than 2004 just wait and see. The Iraq war is unpopular, but Sheehan is a radical.

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | I don't know of a single Democratic Presidenitial candidate who sides with her. Furthermore, a lot of the angst about this war was voiced through Cindy Sheehan. Look at her anti-war demonstration in Washington DC. It had nearly half a million people. The pro war demonstration had 400 people. |

But since she is so outspoken against Bush many people identify her with Democratic party. Your right about the attendance at the protests. But I would have to attribute some of that to the attendees themselves. I am just guessing here but I would bet that most of the attendees were young people, probably college students, who don't support the war. I would say that the majority of those people who do support the war are older and have to work and couldn't afford the time to protest.
