It does seem like a bit of a reflection on the poll numbers though. More people are against this war then for it, so naturally your going to see numbers like this.

I don't really put much faith in poll numbers.

You don't even have to look at the poll numbers if you don't want to (we've been over this before though, poll numbers aren't like religion...it's not about faith. it's a science which has been used to predict elections for a long time, but whatever....) just look around. People are sincerely pissed about this war.

I know life time Republicans who aren't voting for Republicans because of this war. I know die hard Catholics who are dead set (no pun intended) against abortion who will not vote for a Republican at the next elections. There's a strong feeling of discontent in the air. You don't have to watch television to pick up on it.

Well I don't accept science or polls as absolute 100% fact. They are nice to use to support an argument, but that is about it.


Why would are all of these people not going to vote Republican in the next election. It is not like President Bush is running again or something. There are a lot of Republicans who don't support the war too. What if the Republican candidate in '08 doesn't support the war. Are they not going to vote for them because Bush supported the war. That makes no sense.
