There was just a point in my life where I made a choice to never drink after that. I've had an uncle who drank like a fish and ended ruining his life to the point where he became so depressed her took his own life. I've had another Uncle on my Dad's side of the family who was had an abusive personality and drank non stop. He killed my aunt and himself. I could tell a half a dozen stories like that about members of the family I have seen.....the murder above I witnessed myself when I was young. It may have had something to do with it....it may not have. It's just my personal decision to avoid alcohol completely now.

We didn't notice at first and then we looked around and were like, "where the fuck is he?" They had to go get the key and open the door and he was passed out underneath the sink. Now, he's embarassed and doesn't want to drink with us anymore. Poor kid.

I've done a bunch of dumb shit like drive around before and everything, get in cars with drunk fucks, etc.. It is dangerous so I don't want to make light of it. I don't drink nearly as much as I used to and I'm a lot more cautious about what I do and how I do it.

I remember him waving the can under my nose. "You see this? You smell it good Joey?" "You ever touch this s@it it will ruin your life you hear me?! You're better than this!" That kind of stuff sticks with you I guess. There was just a point I decided to avoid the idea of it all together. Make fun of it what you will but I feel it's best for me.

Rep Power: 11 ![]() | I come from a family history of really bad alcoholics as well. Sometimes I worry that I'm spiralling down that path, but then I just don't drink anything for a few weeks. |

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | Disco and I talked about this last night. There was a lot of crying and hugging. When I drank I would sometimes drink alone. Many times I wouldn't end up alone but I started that way. And sometimes I would drink alone and just end up passing out. It was sad. I also would miss work and school quite often. I could be a "happy drunk" but I was rarely social about it, even when hanging out with people. I much prefered getting drunk to actually talking to people. Eventually I just said fuck this and threw away all my alcohol. I haven't gone back since. Though I'm heavily tempted from time to time. My family also has a bad history. I've lost a lot of family members from it. Really, I can barely think of anyone in my family who isn't or wasn't an alcoholic. |

Rep Power: 24 ![]() ![]() | I have a first experience with drugs story. Not booze but just as entertaining. I was at a friends place and he gave me a few beers and we were playing Atari. Then he broke out a 2 liter bottle and introduced me to hash. Now, keep in mind that I had never done drugs before. So he fills up the 2 liter (with hash smoke for those of you who don't know ) and hands it to me. Hahaha! I already smoked so my lungs were at least not sent into shock, but my brain was. After a few of those ( yes a few, and from a 2 liter bottle ), we continued to play Atari. Only problem was, I was playing the game on the ceiling and not the tv screen lol. I swear to this day those little planes flew off the screen and went to the ceiling. So anyway, his stepdad came home not long after this. ( See, he was allowed to drink and have drugs. how awesome was it to have a friend like that! ) He gets called downstairs and they get in to an arguments over something stupid. They really hated each other. The next thing I knew, they were in an all our fight rolling around on the ground n shit in his living room. Now keep in mind that not 2 mins ago I was watching video games on the ceiling, so needless to say I was a bit, how shall I say,FREAKED THE FUCK OUT by seeing him fighting on the ground with his stepdad. So As I stand there watching this, his mom is yelling at them to stop n stuff and they finally stop and my friend LEAVES! So there I am standing on the stairs fucking baked out of my mind for the first time in my life and my friend is gone. Holy shit, what do I do? I am a space cadet at this point and freaked the fuck out and was in shock too I think cuz I called my old man to come and get me. Of course after I made the call I then realize that I am baked out of my gore and that my father is going to be there in 15 mins to get me. ( oops) Well 2 mins later I forget to care that I am suppose to be worried at this point lol. So he pulls up and I get in the truck. I tell him what happened. Of course I leave out the part that I am stoned. If he had of known, I would have had the past 3 lives beaten out of me lol. So he is asking me all these questions n shit and I am trying my best to answer with sentences as short as possible. So I manage to avoid being detected that I was in another world and I start to relax and not worry about being caught. That is until I walk into the house. So I guess I take a long time taking my shoes and jacket off because by the time I do, they are both sitting in the kitchen when I walk out of the porch. My mother goes, "You must have been really scared". "I said why do you say that?" She goes, "Because your face is as white as a ghost.". Keep in mind I am still stoned,( and remained so for the next 4 hrs ), and after she said that, I paused for what seemed like a few days, and finally respond with, YA! ( I almost said "that's it!") but just said I was pretty scared about the fight an all. I then walked into the washroom and stared at my face for the next 20 mins or so. After that I pigged out for like 2 hrs and watched tv for the rest of the weekend lol. I was more shocked that I got away with it and they even gave me an explanation as to why my face was white. It worked out pretty well I think. |
