So we had a long discussion on Mr. Moore today in my class. We had to read an article written by him about America being the "Idiot Nation" as he called it..

So of course, the discussion quickly changed to Farenheight 9/11 and even a little Bowling for Columbine.. but mostly 9/11

My assumption is that if you're a Republican you hate the man, and if you're a democrat you think he's ok.. Maybe not love him, but he's ok..

Personally, I don't have much of an opinion on he man himself, but if half of his film is true then Bush is a real scumbag..

I just get pissed off in all of these films and readings, the guy skews things so much towards his point of view. I'd like it a lot better if he just presented all the facts and let us decide for ourselves on each issue.

And btw, we all agree he's a fat piece of shit.

A lot of the stuff in Farenheight 9/11 are not the truth. Like you said people take the truth and stretch it until it fits there point of view. I don't like anyone who is too far one way or the other.

Yes, he is a big fat piece of shiet. I hate politics, and I hate people who strech the truth hence I dislike Michael Moore. I just wished some peeps would just stick with facts and let people decide what they wanna think, instead of trying to force their views on people and misrepresent info.

I don't think Moore should stretch the truth so much, there are plenty of bad things about Bush so you shouldn't stretch some facts since it can hurt your credibility.

I actually agree with Dakstang about not likeing people who are too far one way or another, especially with docmentaries, something that is supposed to be impartial.

As for my opinion of the guy, hes a piece of absolute shit. If you find some of the old debates on this you'll find a link posted by me which is a list of all the inaccuracies and lies that he puts in his films.
